Our Leadership
Pastor Tony and Isauna Cotto
Pastor Tony Cotto's journey at Chestnut Assembly began in the spring of 1993 when he first walked through its doors. By 1995, Tony found himself volunteering, taking on tasks like cleaning toilets and fulfilling janitorial duties, which eventually led to him volunteering for the worship team.
On June 6th, 2000, Tony's dedication and passion caught the attention of the church leadership, and he was offered the role of Music Director and Worship Leader. His talent for music and his ability to lead others in worship soon became widely recognized within the congregation. During the early years of his tenure at Chestnut, Tony also served as the director of an award-winning choir, honing his musical talents and leadership skills.
However, Tony's heart for service extended beyond the church walls. Known for his compassion for the homeless and needy, he chose to spend nights sleeping on the streets, demonstrating solidarity and empathy with those in need. This commitment to the marginalized reflects his deeply-held belief in living out the teachings of Christ through tangible acts of love and compassion.
As a revivalist, Tony is driven to see a powerful move of the Spirit within the church and the community. His powerful preachings has inspired many to seek a deeper relationship with God. Today, he continues to lead with humility, integrity, and a relentless pursuit of encountering God's presence, leaving a lasting impact on all who have the privilege of knowing him.
